It's been a while since we posted an update. Rowan has been doing wonderfully. Sure, we are still going in and out of the hospital, but for the most part he's been a happy, curious little guy. He took his first road trip to grandma and grandpa Tolleson's house a few weeks ago. He slept the entire time in the car and had so much fun there! This past week he has started to talk constantly, and it is so fun watching his attempts to communicate. If he can't see us, he will make noises until we come back over, and then smiles so big because we listened to him. He's close to being able to sit up on his own, and loves standing holding onto our hands. He can hold and play with his toys now as well. He may be a little behind other babies, but he sure is trying hard! Another surgery is going to be happening soon, as he has another blockage in his intestines, but we are waiting on some tests to see how large and how bad it is. The surgeon wants to wait until january to let his body take a break and heal more. Rowan had turned out to be a happy, fun baby that sleeps all night (unless he didn't feel good), and wakes up happy and smiley. Here are some pictures from his road trip.
